They are available in many models, capable of firing from a few caps to over a thousand caps. These are often high voltage circuits which must be designed by an Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or Explosives Engineer experienced in blasting circuitry. and will not be discussed further. Portable power plants are occasionally used for electrical blasting, but are not sufficiently common to warrant further study.

Blasting Galvanometers and voltammeters are especially designed for testing blasting circuits.
